Polynomial Equations Formula

Usually, the polynomial equation is expressed in the form of an(xn). Here a is the coefficient, x is the variable and n is the exponent. As we have already discussed in the introduction part, the value of exponent should always be a positive integer.

If we expand the polynomial equation we get;

F(x) = anxn + an-1xn-1 + an-2xn-2 + …….. + a1x +a= 0

This is the general expression and it can also be expressed as;

Example of a polynomial equation is: 2x+ 3x + 1 = 0, where 2x+ 3x + 1 is basically a polynomial expression which has been set equal to zero, to form a polynomial equation.
